Zaeronautics Initiates Strategic Dialogue with Xelevate

Zaeronautics has officially entered discussions with Xelevate, a U.S.–based unmanned systems proving ground and aerospace technology hub. The meeting marks a pivotal step toward establishing technical collaboration and prototyping alignment between both organizations. Xelevate’s 66-acre drone testing facility in Leesburg, Virginia, provides a controlled environment for advanced flight testing, BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) certification, and systems integration—capabilities that directly support Zaeronautics’ roadmap toward operational readiness. As part of its broader mission to create a sovereign, zero-emission aerial logistics platform for developing nations, Zaeronautics views this partnership as a potential gateway to accelerate prototyping, validation, and certification of its Zaero-A, Zaero-L, and Zaero-R systems under international standards. “This engagement with Xelevate represents more than a meeting—it’s the alignment of two ecosystems focused on responsible, scalable innovation,” said a Zaeronautics spokesperson. “By combining our zero-emission platform design with Xelevate’s flight-proving expertise, we are one step closer to bringing clean aerial logistics to reality.” The meeting will take place at Xelevate’s Leesburg test site before Zaeronautics’ leadership returns to Senegal to advance site development and regional partnerships.
