Mandate

REF: ZL-000

Zaero Logic is Zaeronautics' commercial engine. We plan, price, and run the end-to-end logistics network built on the Zaero Platform (Zaero-A aircraft + Zaero-L launch + Zaero-R recovery).

Our job is simple: turn clean flight into predictable service levels, transparent invoices, and profitable corridors.

Current Phase & Partnerships

REF: ZL-001

Zaero Logic is currently entering the pre-operational validation phase for our first unmanned logistics corridors in Senegal.

These routes will open in staged segments under regulated BVLOS oversight through certified partners.

During this phase, Zaeronautics is evaluating select third-party eVTOL cargo platforms to conduct structured test flights, performance validation, and joint demonstration missions ahead of full-scale deployment.

THIS ALLOWS:
  • OEM partners to gather high-value operational data
  • Regulators to observe controlled test flights
  • Zaero Logic to validate corridor design, pricing models, and turnaround processes
  • A fast path to generating national-level operational readiness

As Zaero-A matures through NZD's R&D pipeline, Zaero Logic works with established aircraft manufacturers to accelerate corridor activation and ensure early operational reliability.

Services & SLAs

REF: ZL-003

We publish corridor-specific SLAs informed by the system envelope and turnaround constraints:

SERVICE I
STANDARD
48hrs

Standard delivery within 48 hours. Base pricing applies.

SERVICE II
PRIORITY
24hrs

Priority delivery within 24 hours. Multiplier applies.

SERVICE III
EXPRESS
6hrs

Express delivery within 6 hours. Premium multiplier applies.

Service tiers sit on top of the base parcel price so enterprise buyers can choose speed vs. cost with clarity.

[SECTION_04]

Pricing That Rewards Efficiency

REF: ZL-004

Zaero Logic administers a transparent, four-layer model that shows up on every invoice:

Pricing dashboard
LAYER 1: TIER (DISTANCE)

T1/T2/T3 corridors with published per-gram rates and their own "offset ledgers."

LAYER 2: BAND (WEIGHT)

A1–G bands for letters through bulk cargo with progressive pricing.

LAYER 3: BRACKET (VOLUME)

Progressive multiplier that reduces per-parcel price as batch size grows.

LAYER 4: OFFSET (CO₂ DIVIDEND)

Yesterday's CO₂ savings lower today's per-10g price by a route-specific value.

WHY THIS MATTERS

The model builds demand (micro-senders see large % discounts), protects margins on heavier freight, and scales cleanly across corridors as ledgers update. We publish worked examples and show the discount line item on invoices so customers actually see the CO₂ dividend applied.

Corridor Playbook

REF: ZL-005

Each corridor gets a repeatable setup process to ensure operational excellence:

01
ENVELOPE & THROUGHPUT

Publish the corridor tier, expected average payload per flight, and daily flight plan within the aircraft's envelope to hit ≥6 legs/day with ≤20 min ground time.

02
A/L/R INTEGRATION

Zaero-L launch acceleration and Zaero-R controlled-flow capture are tuned to corridor winds and dust profiles before opening to customers.

03
OPS ACCEPTANCE

We won't go public on a corridor until the capture/turn cycle is repeatable and documented with acceptance testing and reliability thresholds met.

Day-to-Day Operations

REF: ZL-006
SORTIE RHYTHM

Plan 6+ legs per aircraft per day; balance energy windows and battery swap to preserve the ≤20 min turnaround KPI.

GROUND TIME

Unload, swap, reload, relaunch — standardized in the ops checklist tied to L/R PLCs and base station mission manager.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Mission reliability (≥95%) and downtime (<5% in first 100 hrs) are tracked live; any off-nominal events trigger root-cause and corrective action.

MAINTENANCE CADENCE

Line/intermediate/depot maintenance with intervals by subsystem (A/L/R) so we schedule around customer windows, not the other way around.

Customer Experience

REF: ZL-007
01

Booking & Batching

We encourage batching to unlock bracket multipliers; SMEs can pool parcels by cut-off windows per corridor.

02

Transparent Invoices

Base cost, offset discount (per 10g by band), and any service multiplier are itemized on every invoice.

03

Route-Level CO₂ Dividends

Every route maintains its own offset ledger; we communicate the current per-10g discount by corridor so customers can plan.

[SECTION_08]

Quality, Compliance & ESG

REF: ZL-008
QUALITY & SAFETY

ISO 9001, DO-178C/DO-254 software/hardware assurance, ICAO UAS Class 1 where applicable.

ENVIRONMENTAL

ISO 14001 principles carried into end-of-life practices (battery recovery, recyclable packaging/spares) and supplier guidance.

Quality compliance
[SECTION_09]

Data → Improvement Loop

REF: ZL-009

Zaero Logic closes the loop between field performance and pricing:

TELEMETRY-TO-PRICING

Better energy performance raises a corridor's offset ledger, which automatically reduces next-day prices on that route.

RELIABILITY-TO-SLA

Achieved turnaround and capture metrics feed SLA targets and staffing for the following week.

Data analytics

We expand from a single flagship corridor to a national mesh by replicating the corridor playbook and its ledgers.

As each new route stabilizes, the network behaves like a single organism: more flights → better offsets → stronger price elasticity → higher load factors — without sacrificing margin.

This is exactly how the tier/bracket/offset economics were designed to compound.
