The Zaero Systems Directorate (ZSD) is the central regulatory, compliance, and governance authority within Zaeronautics.
It ensures that every division, project, and partnership operates in accordance with the company's engineering, safety, ethical, and diplomatic standards.
ZSD exists to maintain integrity between what we build, how we operate, and how we are represented — both technically and institutionally.
ZSD functions as the oversight and coordination body connecting all Zaeronautics divisions — from R&D to operations — under a common regulatory framework.

Directorate Structure
The ZSD operates under the authority of Zaeronautics Headquarters with a small, specialized leadership council responsible for global governance areas:
Office of Standards & Certification
Defines and validates compliance requirements for all Zaeronautics hardware, software, and operational processes.
Office of Risk & Safety
Oversees flight, ground, data, and personnel safety; ensures compliance with international and local aviation standards.
Office of External Affairs
Manages Zaeronautics' representation abroad through appointed Directors of External Affairs, functioning as national liaisons.
Office of Corporate Integrity
Upholds ethical governance, internal policy enforcement, and confidentiality standards across all divisions.
The Directors of External Affairs
The Directors of External Affairs are the national representatives of Zaeronautics, appointed under the authority of the ZSD. They serve as the public and diplomatic voice of Zaeronautics within each country of operation — engaging with ministries, regulators, corporate partners, and the media to advance the company's mission.
Responsibilities
Serve as Zaeronautics' authorized spokesperson within their nation
Build and maintain relationships with government, civil aviation authorities, and key institutional partners
Facilitate local partnerships for logistics, energy, and training
Align all communication with ZSD's global standards and messaging
Provide policy insights and risk intelligence back to the Directorate for strategic planning
Represent Zaeronautics at national and regional conferences, exhibitions, and media events
Reporting Line
All Directors of External Affairs report directly to the Zaero Systems Directorate, ensuring consistent adherence to corporate ethics, compliance, and communication protocol.
